GSettings and desktop-wide keys

Hi!

I started to migrate Eye of GNOME to GSettings and found that we use
several keys that live in GConf's /desktop/gnome path.

These are specifically the lockdown settings and the desktop background
which are defined in a schema currently shipping with the deprecated
libgnome.

Are there already any plans to move them to other packages or should
they be buried with their package (and things should be done differently
instead)?
