Is mutter not giving up the _NET_WM_CM_S%d selection?

Hi,

I just had a user come into #compiz and their problem was that compiz
couldn't cleanly replace gnome-shell (and mutter) because it doing
XCompositeRedirectSubwindows fails. This would seem like mutter does
not do XCompositeUnredirectSubwindows (.. CompositeRedirectManual)
when it loses the _NET_WM_CM_S%d selection. At least in my testing
doing --replace seems to work fine on my system, but this user was
running Arch Linux which I don't run, so I'm wondering if that was a
bug in the old version or a newer version to the one in Ubuntu.
