Libinsane: scan library

I've been working for quite some times on a library to access image 
scanners: Libinsane ( 
https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/OpenPaperwork/libinsane ). It is 
cross-platform (Linux/Windows), takes care of many quirks of many 
scanners and also includes GObject Introspection bindings. I've recently 
tagged the version 1.0.

While I made it for my own project ( https://openpaper.work/ ), I just 
wanted to mention it here because I guess it could be useful for other 
applications like Simple-scan or Gimp.
