Would you see anyway in which this information could be made available
outside of mozilla? "Intelligent" popup removal(ie click vs onload
popups) would be a lot more usefull to have instead of killing all
popups completely. I was under the impression that this was in fact the
default behavior or Mozilla. IMHO, having a unified, controllable window
open heuristic would probably solve a lot of tab/window issues as there
could be options (for a cleaner UI, the more fine grained things could
probably be placed in Gconf) for everyone's taste and this control would
allow better, imo, popup removal. A sensible default policy together
with an ability for the advanced user/admin to tune it to their own
desire could make this system more useful then just click/onload
separation and would allow for everyone's tab opening tastes to be
satisfied. Of course this could be just a silly idea to overbloat the
codebase with useless refinements :)
