I'm running RedHat 6.2 with the same glibc and it works great for me.
Perhaps you don't have your language variables set right?

Sorry for bugging you with this, after all it's not a evolution bug. :)
I'm running glibc-2.1.3-22, and that is AFAIK the latest version of
glibc for rh-6.2?
Anyother suggesions?
BTW: updated to the latest snapshot. 0.9 +cvs.2001.03.06.23.22
And it still doesn't work.
TIA

When we saw this before it was a problem with glibc's iconv() calls,
which is what libunicode uses if the systems iconv is ok. Umm, see if
you can get a newer glibc or something?

After I sent this mail, I figured out what's going on...
This thing only happens when I'm using norwegian characters.
So when I'm writing plain ascii it works, but when I'm using
iso8859-1 characters this "bug" appears.
Has this something with LC_* settings and libunicode? (version
installed: libunicode-0.4.gnome-0_helix_1)
TIA

Hello,
I have resently experienced a small problem when I'm sending mail
(and
fetching mail from local maildir). Sometimes when I'm sending a
mail
the
plain text part is "inserted" twice.
So when I look in the Sent folder the mail contains all the text I
wrote
twice.
eksample.
This is a test, line 1
This is a test, line 2
becomes:
This is a test, line 1
This is a test, line 2
This is a test, line 1
This is a test, line 2
I'm running evolution snapshot 02.16.08.55 (and red-carpet 0.9.1)
I haven't had this problem before, but i reinstalled redhad 6.2
from
scratch (wiped my current installation). And after that, this
thing
start bugging me.
If I send i as HTML, the plain text part is insertet tree times,
but
the
html part is just inserted once.
Have anyone else experienced this problem, and now how to fix it?
