I think it is. We still get invalid bugs about Evolution launching the
wrong browser -- usually from non-GNOME users -- and that would give me
something to point to when I close them.
Also, given how fragmented desktop Linux has become in recent years, I
would even assume the majority of Evolution users are on other desktop
environments now. That includes me.
I agree. I actually looked at the Evo docs when trying to solve this and
the solution wasn't there (the help page refers
to .local/share/applications/mimeapps.list as the place to set this,
which is either wrong or incomplete.)
