garnome mozilla question

Hello, 

I just build plain (garnome) vanilla mozilla on my ydl2.3 (linux-ppc)
The problem is that it won't start at all and just fails silently
returning to the shell prompt 1-2 seconds after being invoked.
The same happens when I try my luck with the latest gtk2-patched
nightly/experimental/xft - version of mozilla.

Anyone experiencing similar behaviour?
