GARNOME | general | Ver: 2.18.x
Summary: Building poppler or librsvg builds cairo without poppler
or librsvg support
Product: GARNOME
Version: 2.18.x
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: Normal
Component: general
AssignedTo: garnome-maint gnome bugs
ReportedBy: lorien420 myrealbox com
QAContact: garnome-list gnome org
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Please describe the problem:
freedesktop/poppler has two dependencies: platform/gtk+ and
freedesktop/poppler-data. platform/gtk+ requires freedesktop/cairo. This means
that when you install poppler it will install cairo without poppler support.
desktop/librsvg has a similar problem where it requires freedesktop/cairo
directly.
The only clear way I've found to work around this so far is to install cairo
twice. Once to build poppler and librsvg, and then again after poppler and
librsvg have been installed.
Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Does this happen every time?
