gnopernicus status

Hi all,
I am new to this list, and am wondering what the status of gnopernicus is.
Is it available in any form other than cvs?

I tried checking it out from cvs and compiling it, but it seems to have a
dependency on gnome-autogen.sh which is not on my system.

I am running RedHat 8.0 server with all packages installed.
