Hi Don:
I am not sure if gnopernicus is available via the "GARNOME" build
process yet or not, but you can build it (and the rest of GNOME2) from
CVS using 'jhbuild'. 'jhbuild' is a gnome cvs module and it is a
cvs-based build-and-install system, so it's still not for the
faint-of-heart.
gnome-autogen.sh is part of the "gnome-common" cvs module, so if you
still want to try building and installing gnopernicus from CVS this may
speed you on your way.
Also please see the gnopernicus documentation at
http://www.baum.ro/gnopernicus.html
I think that it would be good to get "tarball" releases of gnopernicus
and its non-bundled dependencies (i.e. those not included in RedHat 8.0
and other current GNOME distributions) available via ftp.gnome.org.
"gnome-mag" has been released in this way but I am not sure about
"gnome-speech", another key gnopernicus dependency.
best regards,
Bill
