You can use the --with-execute-root option of BRLTTY's configure script and
have more than one release installed at the same time (as long as you don't try
running both of them at the same time).

It'll only show you what Gnopernicus is presenting when you're switched to the
virtual terminal which is running X. In all other virtual terminals BRLTTY will
run in normal text mode as usual.
