Status info from applets on panels.

Hi all
Does anybody know how to get Gnopernicus to read the status info to be
read from a panel applet? For example, whenever I move over the battery
applet, it says battery monitor applet, or something along those lines,
yet in the tooltip, the information that I want is displayed.
