Meld is a gnome2 visual diff and merge tool.

Features include
- Edit files in place. Diffs update dynamically.
- Middle column shows detailed changes, and allows merges.

- diff2 and diff3 support.
- File and directory diffs.
- CVS browser (meld <directory>)

Enhancements

- Meld can now edit non utf8 files by explicitly specifying the encoding.
