Dynamically linking orbit-idl

Hello hackers,


I noticed that orbit-idl is statically linked with libIDL by default.
Is this so that orbit-idl can generate the necessary sources during
the build (before libIDL get installed to the system)?

I manually linked it with libIDL dynamically and it works fine in my
build tree, without libIDL in the library path.  I don't know if it
works on a platform other than linux, but thought I should mention it
here.
