Problem with zvt as a custom widget using libglade

Hi,

I have a Glade project which I am loading using libglade.  I want to have
a ZvtTerm widget, which isn't natively supported by Glade or libglade, so
I added a Custom widget.  My creation function gets called, and the widget
is visible in the correct place, and mostly works.  However, it never
receives key press events.  If I modify the program slightly so that I
create a ZvtTerm widget and pack it into the hbox, then key presses
arrive as expected.

This seems really wierd, to say the least.  Can anyone make a suggestion?
