Well, gnome-db uses corba to do a native driver instead of a shared lib.
so  it should take more then 19% on gnome-db, or odbc is a very slow api,
or myodbc is just a slow lib. Which is true, I dont know, but iodbc, being
a shared lib, should be faster then using corba, every single time. Can
you show me a bench mark that shows gnome-db using mysql is faster then
iodbc/myodbc? If not, your argument is invalid.
