Gnome LDAP tool

Is anyone developing such a thing?

I am running openldap on one of our test servers, looking to use it to
provide network-wide authentication, address book and other directory
services (why bother with Novell or that other vendor?).

I am finding the command-line tools a little tedious and time-consuming
for day-to-day maintenenance etc.

Before I pile into it, is anyone else doing something similar? If not,
does anyone else have any suggestions or requirements in this area?
