Question regarding gdk messages.

Hi all,

   I have noticed the following message come up more than a few times
on my system:

Gdk-Message: Got event for unknown window: 0x*******

   I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to the source of
such a message? The reason I ask on this list is I have been working
on the gnome control panel to incorporate my Theme-O-Matic program
and now I get one of the aforementioned error messages not to the
standard out but to a dialog! 

  The situation is intolerable and if someone could point me to some
documentation or explain such a message I would owe said person a
TALL FROSTY CANADIAN BEER should they ever come to visit balmy
Victoria:)
