Mightn't that confuse the gnome-config stuff then?

I agree it's nice to have one as an example, and usually to have one
as a default. However, in this case, it just seems weird that when you
enable the Guile scripting extension for gnome-terminal, various unexpected
changes happen to your terminal setup until you specifically create a
(possibly empty) config file of your own.
