TaskList idea

Hi

It occurred to me a while ago that it would be useful if applications
could place a widget of some kind (probably a fixed size) in the
button representing their window in the TaskList applet. I imagine
this could be done by CORBA?

The reason behind the idea was that I had several Netscape windows
open that were all loading different pages. I minimised several of
them to read one of the others and wanted to know how much of the
pages they had downloaded. If they'd had a little progress meter I
could have seen instantly. There are plenty more things that could be
done (e.g. the ability for an application to make it's tasklist button
flash to indicate something important). 

Just an idea (and don't ask me to code it ;)
