orbit across a network

What do I need to do to let orbit work over a network?  I have a few corba
apps that work with orbit on one machine but they fail when I try to use
them over the network.  (The echo example from the tutorial also.)  
	It looks like orbit is using UNIX local sockets rather then tcp
sockets but I don't know how to change that.  Does anyone know how to tell
orbit to use TCP sockets?
	Otherwise has anyone else dealt with this problem?
