patches and responses...

about a week ago i sent up a patch for gnome-terminal that caused it to
remember the cwd of a terminal between sessions. since i use linux on a
moronic compaq laptop with a poor apm implementation i end up shutting
the box down twice a day (once to go to work, once to go home). so at
least having my terms stay where i put them (both on the screen and in
the fs) is a blessing.

now i'd really rather not maintain these patches as a seperate tree,
so i'm hoping they'll be incorporated. and since i have some other
things i'd like to put in, i'd like to know what the correct way to
submit patches actually *is*.

so, have my patches been accepted; if not is there something i can
change to get them accepted?

cheers!

kevin
