Question about this list

I apologize if this is off-topic, but I subscribed to this list and
tried to send some messages to it earlier today and they still have not
appeared (nor have they bounced).  I subscribed to the list with the
e-mail address david+gnome@eversoft.com but I send mail with my address
set as dharaburda@eversoft.com. Will it drop my messages if the e-mail
address is not a subscribed one? I only do this because if I use
david+gnome Cyrus IMAP server will put my mail in the right mailboxes
for me.
