  I think its to big for what it does. 

  I just started thinking of changing my application to an applet like the
mini-commander, so you got one more GtkEntry on the panel and you just enter
your equation there. Dont know if the result should be but beneath in an 
sepratate read-only Entry or should be popped up ...

My primal goals still are simplicity and small size (both on screen and in
memory)
