gnome-core/gnome-applets freeze

Hello hackers of the GNOME,

So, gnome-core and gnome-applets should now be considered "frozen"
for the 1.2 release.  This means that new features are discouraged,
and only bug fixes should go into these packages.

Please contact me if you want to add features, since there are most
likely very reasonable exceptions.
