Merge of Bonobo and Kparts?

Barrapunto just published a link to

mentions there was a long IRC chat between Miguel and Rikkus (from KDE).
They would have been talking about trying to agree on a component
technology. Please somebody make my day and confirm this, so that I send
my name to the list of supporters at the page.
