Miguel,

Another issue I've noticed with gnome-libs-1.2.5-test.  It appears
that command-line geometry specification has been broken, at least
with gnome-terminal.  With 1.2.4, you could do "gnome-terminal
--geometry 80x35" to get a 35-line terminal.  With 1.2.5-test, it
ignores the command-line and sets to 80x24.
