the goal for it is to be as functional as the listing widget in windows.
you can rename files in it, and it will be able to create folders and
delete files.

dnd with the listing widget will also happen.

as for copy/cut/paste of files, that will be a little bit more off.

performance was too high a barrier when this was started.

i'll probably end up hacking a little demo thing which will do this, but
it won't be nearly as flexible/powerful as nautilus.

i mean, we have a not-so-bad file manager (2, actually) but we don't
have a good file sel dialog.
