Is there any documentation at all about gnome-print

Has anyone produced any documentation at all about using gnome-print?

I can find absolutely nothing about using this. The only sort of
documentation is a couple of example programs that really don't give
any clue as to how it is all supposed to work. The source code
contains no comments, so it is useless in trying to figure out any
of it.

Is there any documentation, or is gnome-print reserved to only those
in the inner circle who have access to secret knowledge?
