Q: gcc error

Hi,
i my redhat 7.0 i am doing:
gcc -Wall -g example.c -o example 'gtk-config --cflags --libs'

I get:
gcc: gtk-config --cflags --libs: No such file or directory
In file included from /usr/include/gdk/gdktypes.h:33,
                            /usr/include/gdk/gdk.h:31,
                            /usr/include/gtk/gtk.h:31,
/usr/inlcude/glib.h:66:24: glibconfig.h: No such fiel or directory.


I am nt sure what is missing?.
