For CJK people, translating font names is the only option to get proper
fonts for Gnome 1.x.

People using various languages should know what fonts/size suits their
languages best. Adding *-r-* usually means these people are forced to
see the default font which almost always doesn't mix well with latin
fonts, or in some worst cases, all multibyte characters are displayed
as random symbols.
