I cannot use db2*

Hello everybody!

I am new to the list and I have a question!

I have a RedHat 6.2 with jade, docbook, jadetex, sgml-common &
stylesheets.
I have installed gdp-both.dls overwriting cygnus-both.dsl.
I have installed png-support-3.1.dtd and I have modified CATALOG.

But when I try to do db2* (ps, html, rtf) with gnome-app-template.sgml,
LaTeX give me errors as:

A funny symbol that I can't read has just been input.
Continue, and I'll forget that it ever happened.

Another error occurs when I try to compile balsa-0.6.0:
