keyboard navigation

Hi!

I think that one of the most important improvements of the gnome ui
would be a standard for using the keyboard for navigation within
applications. I cannot find anything about this on your homepage, but
I am sure that the issue has been addressed before. Maybe there is a
standard, but then it doesn't seem to be implemented by most
applications. My desire is the possibility to to everything without
touching the mouse. There should be a keyboard equivalence for all
mouse operations, when applicable.
