Umm, with it open in front of me, I see top-level menus (in the context menu of an
image):
File, Edit, Select, View, Image, Layers, Tools, Dialogs, Filters, Guides, Video,
Script-Fu.
I would be tempted to remove File, Image, Layers, Tools, and Dialogs right off the
bat (for the context menu).
Under File, I can't see the more than "Save" and "Save As" as being context-related
if it were to be left there.
Under Edit, I'd keep just the cut, copy and paste options. I'd be tempted to remove
them as well and add a toolbar to the image that has these (file save, edit copy,
cut, paste -- as with most programs).
As for the Filters and Script-Fu, there should be a frequently used list, but that's
a seperate GIMP issue altogether.
