I think that's a fine idea. Adding comment to xml2po's
"ignore tags" didn't seem to do the trick though. I've
had some other places where xml2po didn't quite do what
I thought it would do with the Mallard mode.
If we have a "do not translate" feature, it would be
nice if it supported the its:translate attribute:

After working on Mallard support in xml2po, I think we
someone needs to sit down and really refactor xml2po to
handle this and some of the other ITS stuff. I already
had to make some small changes to xml2po itself to get
the Mallard mode working.
Danilo, I know you'll read this thread eventually. Can
you chime in with your thoughts?
