Fallback for Frisian fy - Re: gnome-i18n Digest, Vol 72, Issue 25

We had the same problem with editing fallback languages for the benefit
of some other one than English, too. For Low German it was / is useful
to set German instead of English as the first fallback.
I have written sth. about this gettext thing in our Low German
translation guidelines, which can be found here:

I hope that this might be useful, despite it is written in German..
However for Low German this way did not work properly in the last
versions of Ubuntu.
So if you at the Frisian team get it running after some time, when fy is
getting shipped with a distribution for example, I would love to hear
about your experience!
