In case of British English it may happen that this is not only the
translation bug but the original US English (untranslated) source
bug. In order to test the US English locale run from the command line:

    LANG=C gimp

If you find the same bug in the US English version it's reasonable
to file a bug report (and maybe even provide a patch) to the bugzilla:
