I've just uploaded a gnome-libs 0.27-2 which includes an updated
libgnomeui/gnome-init.c (from the CVS).  This fixes the problems with
gnome session.

The panel in 0.28 is still unable to load applets.  Hopefully, there
will be a fixed gnome-core sometime that will correct this.
