       I compiled.  Is the tarball for the gnome-admin package 0.27 or
0.28 there yet (I looked for it yesterday).

       The idea of picking through all my /usr/local/ files to remove
the gnome ones and nothing else -- arrgh.  I guess I could, and then
reinstall from rpms.  Sigh.

      I removed something and got a linuxconf program that would run
rather in the same frame work as the original install program.
