I don't see a symbol named "default_principal_iovec" anywhere. I do see a
"ORBit_default_principal_iovec" in libORBit.so, which is referenced
numerous times in gnome-core/control-center-control-center-stubs.c,
gnome-core/help-browser/help-browser-stubs.c and
gnome-core/panel/gnome-panel-stubs.c.

I would try getting an update of ORBit, and recompiling and
reinstalling it, followed by a similar update of gnome-core.
