gnome-terminal problem.

Very strange problem I face now with gnome-terminal:

The functions to be done:

- I have tk/tcl interface launched from a terminal
- the tk application. launches a perl script
- this perl script is calling an expect program
- the expect script makes a lot of rsh on  different machines (one per
platform I support)

The problem:

- when I run it from xterm, all is OK.
- when I run it from gnome-terminal, then all rsh connections makes a
connection timeout.
- when I run rsh alone in a gnome-terminal, all OK

Any hints ?
