Re: memory issues



I have seen this on my machine also.  128 Mb RAM, 100 Mb swap.  If I leave
myself logged in for a few days, something eventually leaks enough memory that
the system runs out.  It isn't pretty.  I have the KDE also setup and it doesn't
seem to have the problem when I run it instead.

Have the base RH 6.0, with gnome-libs-1.0.10 and -core-1.0.6.  Using the SVGA
server (if that matters),
generally run a well-loaded panel (asclock, pager, memory usage monitor, and cpu
usage monitor), gmc, Netscrape, two gnome-terminals, and maybe control center...
