gnome-session starting enlightenment on Solaris 7

Anyone else running solaris having a problem with this?

If I choose my window manager from the gnome configurator, Window Maker does
fine, but when I choose Enlightenment (0.15), E seems to start up, but freezes
after it has loaded with a screen that's tan, the logo is on the bottom half of
the screen, and two long gray bars (that look like E desktop handles) run
horizontally across the screen, side-by-side. And it just sits there.
