Do latest gnome-core and gnome-libs tarballs have good spec files

I've read horror stories on this list about bad spec files for the
latest tarballs. Are the spec files for the latest gnome-core and
gnome-libs OK now, or are there still problems. I would like to avoid
GNOME tarballs for which 'rpm -tb foo.tar.gz' doesn't work.
