BTW 

I found the orignal problem
It was not actually to do do with missig files.

In the makefile in pixmaps there is a list of pixmaps unfortunately the
title is BITMAPS altering this works. Unfortunately I am now getting the
problem with applets ie: no file called tiny.h in
./sound-monitors/themes/blue/
