Modem lights and ISDN - on line time not shown

I have had an ISDN line installed today and am using Modem Lights to
start and stop the link. The modem lights work fine, so does the
transfer rate display. Unfortunately the time on-line sticks at 00:00.
Any idea why this might be happening?

Is there any other ISDN utility for Gnome?
