Hello,
this seems to be a bug in sawfish. The tasklist has this feature
implemented, so if you click on the tasklist on a task that is focused,
that task will be iconified. However, the problem is that sawfish
doesn't seem to care about the "do-not-focus" that the panel sets.
Therefore, when you click on the tasklist, the panel will be focused
first which means that the focused window will lose focus.
There's a way around this. Select the "Matched Windows" entry in the
Customize menu in sawfish. Then, press add and then enter "panel" as the
name, and select never-focus. Then restart the panel and it should work.
