problem with gnome-core 1.1.5

I tried to install gnome-core 1.1.5 on a redhat 6.1 machine and I get
problems to start the panel from gnome-session or from a terminal:

$ panel
Gdk-ERROR **: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
  serial 132 error_code 10 request_code 33 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)
  serial 133 error_code 10 request_code 33 minor_code 0

What did I do wrong ? What is wrong ?
