hi,

what is the usual way in gnome to set up a printer?

in kde, in the kde-control-panel, you simple select to add a new cups
printer, and go thru some wizards, and that's all.

in gnome, if i want to add a printer, all i found was the
gnome-cups-manager, but when adding a printer, i only got 6 or 7 printer
types (in kde i get the "normal" amount (several hundreds or
thousands)). am i doing anything wrong?
