Gnome-2.6 settings for menu-items is not saved cross session

Hi everybody! 

When I change a menu setting fx to enable the use of gksu 
in gdmsetup ie changing the setting for
Applications->System->Loginscreen (gdm), adding gksu to the command. 
It works fine, but when I logout of the session and login again, then
the setting has not been saved. 

Can anyone confirm this, or point me in the right direction to how I can
fix the problem. 

I use control-center-2.6.0.3
